2ND BLOG

Since I'm busy recently, I couldn't talk to my parents about going to the driving school. However, I still wanted to keep going on 20% project so I asked Joy from 11th grade if she can give me her driving course workbook. It was all about the driving. There were questions asking about signals and basic use of vehicles. Here are the steps of getting driver license and materials that are needed for the driving test.

The first step to get a driver license is passing the traffic safety education course. You can register for the class online and you will be assigned a time and date where the class will be held. If you go to the driving school, you will have an eyesight test before continuing on and the fee is 6,000 Won.

After you take the written exam, you will have a driving test on a set course with a driving instructor. The thing is part of this test is judged by a digital grading system, so you must be careful to follow the time exactly or you might fail. The test includes basic use of the vehicle such as signals on the dashboard, windshield wiper, and how well you respond to the emergency situations while driving. If you fail the test, you can retake it three days after the date on which you failed. You need 18,000 Won for driving course test.

Once you pass the driving course test, you will be received a temporary driver’s license. You will need a valid ID card (신분증) and it will cost 3,500 Won for a temporary driver’s license.

The final step will be the on-road driving exam where you will be tested in the various operations of the motor vehicle by an examiner. Also, you will have to demonstrate competence in safe driving including driving, parking, and changing lanes. If you fail the on-road driving exam, you can retake it 3 days after the date on which you failed.

From next week, I'll start to solve questions and go over the questions which I got wrong. I hope you guys enjoyed my 2nd blog and have a wonderful Lunar New Year's holiday!
